This is one of those dresses that only looks good on the body. Looking at the pattern pieces, and even as I was assembling I was rather doubtful of exactly how (or if) this would be flattering. But, surprise, it’s very cute! I’ll actually (hopefully) be teaching a class on this at JP K&S in late June, you can get some information here.
The back is similar, although it has a zip which keeps the fullness of the blouse and skirt flattering. The zip has an interesting construction. Tasia (of Sewaholic) always turns out immaculate patterns!
